The innovative Gesture office chair from Steelcase was developed on the basis of the worldwide "Global Posture Study", in which Steelcase researchers identified 9 different sitting positions that define today's everyday office life. This is the first chair that specifically supports the flowing and changing movements with the new technologies and also takes into account the operation of smartphone and tablet - inspired by the natural movements of the body. Form follows function - with Gesture, the focus is on the functions and "form follows function" in the best tradition of the Bauhaus design classics. Synchronous mechanism and seat depth adjustment are included as standard, the synchronous mechanism enables a synchronized movement of backrest to seat surface in a ratio of 1:2.6, thus giving the sitter the option of a far-reclined relaxing posture in the fourth detent position of the synchronous mechanism (reclining-chair effect). The mechanism can be released over 4 latching positions as required. In the first detent position, the seat and backrest are locked in the forwardmost working position, although the backrest can still be moved slightly via the core equalizer. The backrest can be released further back via the second and third detent positions. In the fourth detent position, the backrest is free to move backwards up to an opening angle of 135 degrees and the synchronous mechanism can unfold the effect of full freedom of movement.

Toller Stuhl, prima Beratung
Zum Shop: Besonders in den Zeiten von Home Office ist es sehr wichtig, auch privat einen guten Bürostuhl zu benutzen. Leider sind die Top-Modelle, die im Internet und bei Youtube besprochen werden (allen voran die Modelle von Steelcase) nicht im stationären Handel zu finden. Die einzige Möglichkeit, ist es hier die Katze im Sack zu kaufen, was bei Ergonomie und Komfort auch nach hinten losgehen kann!
Ic habe das Glück, in der Nähe zu wohnen und mich vor Ort beraten lassen können. Nach einer unkomplizierten Terminfindung wurde ich exklusiv vor Ort beraten und konnte viele Top-Modelle probesitzen, habe Tipps erhalten. Das allerbeste: Mein präferiertes Modell war sogar spontan vorrätig und ich konnte es direkt mitnehmen! Sogar beim Einladen ins Auto wurde mir geholfen! Ich kann jedem, der Wert auf einen guten Bürostuhl legt, das nur empfehlen.
Zum Stuhl: Ich hatte bereits viele Reviews des Gestures gesehen und er war definitiv auf der "Must sit"-Liste. Nach dem ersten Sitzen war ich schockverliebt und auch im Vergleich zu anderen Steelcase Stühlen war er sehr bequem und ergonomisch. Natürlich ist jeder Mensch anders gebaut und hat andere Vorlieben, aber für mich passt es extrem gut und die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind auch vielfältig. Ich hatte noch nie so einen guten Stuhl und hoffe, er macht mir nach einer Weile genau so viel Spaß wie jetzt.

Guter Service - wir haben den Bürostuhl abgeholt, da wir in er Nähe wohnen. Wir bekamen Hilfe beim Verladen und Tipps zum zusammenbauen und inbetriebnehmen. Hat alles super geklappt. Der Bürostuhl macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck, das Sitzgefühl und die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut. Obwohl wir den steelcase-Bürostuhl nur aufgrund der Beschreibung und Bewertungen/Testergebnisse aber ohne Anschauen/Probesitzen gekauft haben, haben wir wohl eine gute Wahl getroffen.

Der Steelcase Gesture ist ein super bequemer
Der Steelcase Gesture ist ein super bequemer Bürostuhl, auf dem ohne Probleme 8 bis 10 Stunden täglich sitzen kann. Die vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind super und ich konnte schnell ein geeignetes Setup finden.
Die Kopfstütze war zu Beginn etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnungsphase unterstützt diese den Nacken merklich.
In der Zukunft könnten die Armlehnen eventuell zu einem Kritikpunkt werden. Die Armlehnen an sich sind super und sehr individuell einstellbar - allerdings bin ich mir hier nicht ganz sicher, ob diese Konstruktion auch mehrere Jahre ohne Probleme funktionieren wird.
Insgesamt ein super Bürostuhl!

Toller Stuhl mit einer Vielzahl an Einstellmöglichkeiten, die Verarbeitung ist absolut makellos! Man sitzt wirklich sehr komfortabel und die zusätzliche Lordosenunterstützung ist goldwert! Allen Menschen mit starken Rückenbeschwerden sei dennoch gesagt, dass kein Stuhl der Welt diese vollständig beheben kann, er kann die Schmerzen höchstens kurzzeitig lindern. Gegen Hohlkreuz oder hängende Schultern hilft nur dehnen, dehnen, dehnen und die Muskulatur stärken!
