Innovative Design
Steelcase's innovative gamer and office chair Gesture was developed based on the global study "Global Posture Study", in which the Steelcase researchers identified 9 different sitting positions that determine today's esports and everyday office life. This is the first chair that specifically supports the flowing and changing movements with the new technologies and also takes into account the operation of smartphones and tablets, as well as the applications of the gamer scene - inspired by the natural movements of the body. Synchronous mechanism and seat depth adjustment are included as standard. The synchronous mechanism enables a synchronized movement of the backrest to the seat in a ratio of 1:2.6 and thus gives the sitter the opportunity to lean far back and relax in the fourth locking position of the synchronous mechanism (reclining chair effect). The mechanics can be unlocked over 4 detent positions. In the first locking position, the seat and backrest are locked in the foremost working position, with the backrest still being able to move slightly via the Core Equalizer. The backrest can be released further backwards via the second and third detent positions. In the fourth locking position, the back is freely movable and can be freely moved backwards up to an opening angle of 135 degrees and the synchro-mechanism can unfold the effect of full freedom of movement. The core equalizer is always included, the so-called automatic lumbar support offers excellent lumbar support (preventive against herniated lumbar disc). This offers you special relief and is 15cm adjustable in height, 10cm can be swiveled forwards and backwards and can be rotated 90 degrees backwards. I generally take a long time to decide before I purchase. The price of this chair Is more expensive vs. your average chair. But I must say it has been the right decision to invest in this one. Even though I heavily customized the one I ordered. I even decided to go with the extra headrest last minute.
If you can afford this chair. ... Do not hesitate and configure with the options you prefer. - You will not regret !

Von den Fragen vor der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung des Produkts ist alles bestens verlaufen! Man ging auf Sonderwünsche ein und zeigte sich seitens buerostuehle-4u in jeder Hinsicht flexibel.
Die Stühle wurden sogar von der Spedition fertig aufgebaut bis in die Wohnung getragen.
Der Preis ist bei der hohen Qualität dieser Stühle absolut angemessen. Dieser Stuhl ist mit KEINEM Möbelhausstuhl bis 500€ vergleichbar. Dafür reicht allein schon der Blick auf die Garantiezeit.
Wenn ein Stuhl hoch beansprucht wird (~8 Stunden pro Tag), dann hat meiner Erfahrung nach ein Stuhl für 150€ eine Lebensspanne von ca. 1-1,5Jahren, bis er unbequem wird und ca. 2 Jahre bis man ihn komplett entsorgen kann. Zudem ist der Sitzkomfort um Welten geringer!
Wenn man einen Stuhl für den professionellen Einsatz sucht, geht an den hochpreisigen Stühlen, meiner Meinung nach, kein Weg vorbei.
Aber Vorsicht! Mal kurz Probesitzen reicht nicht um die vielfältigen Einstellmöglichkeiten richtig kennenzulernen und nutzen zu können. Gerade die Kopfstütze war für mich am Anfang echt gewöhnungsbedürftig und nun, einige Wochen später will ich sie nicht mehr missen, denn man findet für quasi jede Sitzposition die richtige Einstellung- Großartig variabel! Also unbedingt mit Kopfstütze bestellen, gerade wenn der Stuhl auch für den Privatgebrauch bestimmt ist, wo man sich auch mal zurücklehnen möchte.
Auch die Armlehnen sind außer Konkurrenz. Super variabel, leicht zu verstellen und SEHR stabil. Ich hätte nie gedacht, das ich die Armlehnen mehrmals am Tag verstellen würde.
Wenn man allerdings jemand ist, der nur 2 Stunden/Tag auf dem Stuhl sitzen würde, lohnt es sich nach einem günstigerenn Modell Ausschau zu halten. Außer man ist jemand, der beim Sitzkomfort keine Kompromisse eingehen möchte und das Geld rumliegen hat.
Und an alle, die denken, das z.B. der Hermann Miller Aeron eine Alternative ist- ist er NICHT. Denn im krassen Gegensatz zu den Hermann Miller-Stühlen zwingt einen der Gesture nicht in die aufrechte Haltung. Stattdessen kann man sich mit wenig Aufwand halb zurücklehnen und die Position bleibt dann stabil- sofern man die Feder gut eingestellt hat. Dann heisst es aber wirklich einmal einstellen und vergessen. Auf der Kante sitzen, Schneidersitz etc.- das ist hier alles möglich und bequem. Also ganz im Gegensatz zu den Herman Miller Stühlen, welche einen in eine aufrechte Position zwingen möchten. Aber auch das hat seine Einsatzzwecke. Es bleibt die Frage was man erreichen möchte.
